If I were a female I wouldn't feel great going out alone after dark. It is not, by any stretch of the imagination, one of the safer parts of Brooklyn. There IS a lot of crime in East Flatbush. Hi! I lived somewhat close to there (Martense street at Nostrand ave) so I'm familiar with the general area. I wouldnt have thought that even in animation a 1951 Hudson Hornet could look simultaneously like itself and like Paul Newman, but you will witness that feat, and others, in 'Cars.
